Semi-Truck Collision Injures at Least One in Dixon
Dixon, CA – A serious accident involving a big rig and a Honda car occurred Tuesday evening at an intersection in Dixon, leaving at least one person severely injured.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 113 and Maine Prairie Road.
The CHP reported that a semi-truck, carrying two tankers, collided with a Honda car for unknown reasons. The impact of the crash resulted in significant injuries to at least one person, who was subsequently hospitalized. The condition of the injured individual is currently unknown.
Following the accident, investigators closed State Route 113 in both directions between Hay Road and Fry Road for approximately two hours. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
