Deadly Shooting in Bridgeton: 19-Year-Old James E. Snead Jr. Sought in Connection with Kevon Williams’ Murder

A manhunt is underway in Bridgeton, New Jersey, after a deadly shooting incident on Sunday. According to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, 19-year-old James E. Snead Jr. is being sought in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Kevon Williams.

The shooting occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Sunday in the 100 block of Cottage Avenue. Williams, a resident of the 100 block of Belmont Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Snead, who resides on Baltimore Avenue, is considered armed and dangerous. He is facing charges related to murder and weapons offenses.
