Nashville Woman, Skylar Scott, 32, Tragically Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on Clarksville Highway
A fatal car crash occurred on Saturday night in the 4900 block of Clarksville Highway, claiming the life of 32-year-old Skylar Scott, a resident of Whites Creek. According to the Nashville police, the incident happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. when Scott lost control of her Nissan Murano while traveling northbound on Clarksville Highway.
The vehicle veered off the road, collided with an embankment, and overturned multiple times, ejecting Scott from the car. A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and had allegedly warned Scott to slow down before the accident.
Scott was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The police noted that neither Scott nor her passenger was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Toxicology tests will be conducted to determine if impairment was a contributing factor in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
